I accidentally bought some Safeway Select Pineapple Peach salsa last night (I thought the yellow top meant Southwest Salsa oops) that sounds perfect for cottage cheese.

My smoothies kind of rotate depending on what fruit I have that needs to be used. This week they've been looking like sludge (aka poop monster) but they taste amazing. My fave variations are:

1 cup unsweetened Almond Breeze, 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1TB almond butter, 4 cups baby spinach, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/3 c frozen blueberries, 3-4 strawberries, and 1.5 cups of crushed ice.

1 cup almond breeze, 1 scoop chocolate protein, 1TB peanut butter, 4 cups spinach, 1 frozen banana, 1.5 cups of crushed ice. This one tastes a lot like a peanut butter cup, which is a total bonus in my book.

You can substitute any milk for the almond breeze, I've done soy milk and cow's milk. Just depends on what you have on hand (Bartell's had Almond Breeze on sale for awhile so I have a huge stock of it to go through).Danielle C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03737500896923246536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-945019626057598695.post-47341238079873761762009-07-01T09:06:38.830-07:002009-07-01T09:06:38.830-07:00It actually was quite yummy with Paul Newman's...It actually was quite yummy with Paul Newman's Peach Salsa.
